Easy integration into existing systems and processes using a wide range of modern interfaces

For cost-conscious users looking for a compact, high-performance infrared camera with cooled photon detector technology, the ImageIR® compact is the ideal choice. It offers high measurement precision for demanding tasks, while prioritizing cost efficiency over individually optimized camera performance. These cameras come with a fixed configuration focusing on the capabilities that are key to many measurement tasks: reliable radiometric temperature measurement, excellent image quality, high frame rates (snapshot image acquisition), and easy integration into existing processes.

Accurate Recording of Fast-moving Processes

Whether for in-line quality control, the analysis of fast-moving processes, or demanding monitoring tasks in continuous operation, the ImageIR® compact delivers precise thermographic data exactly where it’s needed. The high-performance cooled detectors used enable extremely short integration times. Due to snapshot mode, even moving test objects and dynamic processes can be captured without distortion or interruption.

Reliable in Continuous Commercial Operation

The camera is particularly well-suited for continuous commercial use: Its heavy-duty, long-life cooler – with an average service life of 28,000 hours – enables reliable, cost-effective measurements in 24/7 operation. The compact size, a wide range of mounting options, and low weight make it easy to integrate the ImageIR® compact into systems, test benches, and automation solutions.

Flexible for a Variety of Measurement Tasks

The integrated 5-position filter wheel provides a standard measurement range of -10 up to 1,500 °C, which can be optionally extended to 3,000 °C. Thus, the ImageIR® compact is suitable for a wide variety of applications in industry, research, and monitoring. A wide range of high-quality infrared lenses with fixed focal length is available to accommodate the size of the test objects and the specific details to be analyzed.

The ImageIR® c7300 is suitable for, among other things:
  • Inline quality control

  • Analysis of fast and dynamic processes

  • Continuous monitoring tasks

  • Automated measurement and testing tasks

  • Non-destructive testing using active thermography

Easy Integration into Existing Processes

When it comes to integration, the ImageIR® compact proves practical: On-camera calibration data enables an easy plug-and-play installation. The camera is equipped with interfaces for reliable and fast data transmission (GigE) be integrated as well as for software integration and control (GenICam / GigE Vision). In addition, the ImageIR® compact enables highly precise and repeatable output of internal trigger signals as well as processing of external trigger signals. With all these features, the camera is a versatile tool for contactless measurement of temperature distributions and non-destructive testing using active thermography.

The ImageIR® compact can be conveniently operated and configured via a web interface. Power is supplied via a wide-range power supply or via PoE.

Thermografie-Kameraserie ImageIR® mit neuer 10 GigE-Schnittstelle

10 GigE Interface

Ultra-fast Data Transfer
High-resolution detectors and high frame rates generate large amounts of data. With the 10 Gigabit Ethernet interface, this data can be transferred quickly, reliably and without loss.

Camera-specific SDK of the ImageIR® series

On-Board SDK

ImageIR® series thermal imaging cameras have recently been equipped with a new generation of electronics. This allows an operating system to be embedded directly into the camera (embedded system). The Software Development Kit integrated into the operating system offers users numerous additional capabilities alongside the familiar advantages of an external SDK.

Thermal image after emissivity correction via IRBIS® software

Emissivity and Automatic Pixel-by-Pixel Emissivity Correction

Emissivity is a key parameter for accurately determining temperatures using thermography. Real surfaces generally do not behave like an ideal black body. Correction methods are necessary, particularly for complex objects made of different materials or featuring different surface textures, in order to obtain precise and reproducible temperature values.
