Camera-specific SDK

ImageIR® series thermal imaging cameras have recently been equipped with a new generation of electronics. This allows an operating system to be embedded directly into the camera (embedded system). The Software Development Kit integrated into the operating system offers users numerous additional capabilities alongside the familiar advantages of an SDK:

  • Independent operation of the camera without PC

  • Automated control of camera functions with the aid of the integrated SDK

  • Implementation of evaluation algorithms and camera control based on these algorithms directly in the camera

Camera-specific SDK of the ImageIR® series

Access to the internal SDK of ImageIR® cameras can be achieved, for example, via a PC connected through Wi-Fi. Once programmed, the SDK function allows the thermal imaging camera to operate autonomously. A permanent, stable network connection to a PC is then no longer required. This simplifies the use of ImageIR® cameras with state-of-the-art electronics even in hard-to-reach places and enables easy integration into and adaptation within existing systems.

 The integrated and external SDKs (the latter running on a permanently connected PC) have the same range of functions.
